From a young age, Maria Cournane felt a quiet yet undeniable pull toward something deeper - a knowing that life holds more than what we’re taught in classrooms or textbooks.
Often questioning conventional systems, she began searching for a truer way of being, one that honored both the stillness within and the mystery beyond.
At age 20, Maria began her formal meditation practice and soon after discovered yoga. But it was during her first pregnancy in 2007 that she encountered Kundalini Yoga, a deeply transformative practice that resonated at the level of soul. Since then, her personal Sadhana (daily spiritual practice) has become a constant companion - now 18 years strong.
Through seasons of grief, loss, motherhood, and profound change, Maria has learned the sacred power of the pause - how to meet each moment with awareness, trust, and grace. These embodied tools have helped her come home to herself, again and again.
Today, Maria is not only a yoga and meditation guide but also a mother of two, and she honors her children and daily life as her greatest teachers. From tantrums to tenderness, chaos to clarity - real life is her spiritual practice. She believes that every moment is an invitation to awaken, to soften, to remember who we truly are beneath the noise.
